What are Collagen Peptides?
Collagen peptides are small, soluble pieces of protein derived from bovine collagen or marine collagen. You can find out about the differences between bovine and marine collagen here.
Vital Proteins' collagen peptides are bioavailable, meaning they can be digested and absorbed by the body easily.
Collagen is found in all our connective tissues, tendons, ligaments and bones. As we get older, our bodies become less efficient at producing collagen, which is why we recommend introducing ingestible collagen to your diet.
